About Me

Emily Combes

I believe great strides can be made through a strong therapeutic relationship. I strive to be client centered and meet you where you are.

I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker since 2013 after graduating from Loyola University in Chicago with a Master of Social Work degree in 2009.  I also have a Master of Science in Child Development from Erikson Institute in Chicago. I strive to provide trauma-informed care to individuals through individualized, evidence-based treatment.

Motherhood has been one of the most dramatic transitions in my life.  I have a passion for working with women throughout their journey to motherhood and parenting.  Whether you are trying to conceive, anxious during pregnancy, or walking through the throes of the fourth trimester (and beyond) I will walk by your side and help you to find who you are in this new stage of life.  I couple my child development background to provide guidance, when asked, with parenting strategies and tackling life with infants and young children.

Outside of the office I spend my time in a house full of kids and dogs.
